“I had the pleasure of completing an internship at Elliott Gallery which was a great experience and learning opportunity. I felt very welcomed by the wonderful team consisting of Addie and Eirini. From curating an exhibition, to maintaining the website, to interviewing artists, I gained insight into a wide variety of activies. Above all, I really enjoyed learning more about the medium of photography and having the opportunity to discover different artists, techniques and subject areas.

I am very grateful for the time I was able to spend at the gallery and everything I learnt there for the future.”

“I’ve had a great time at the gallery and learned so much from Addie and Eirini. It’s the perfect working atmosphere, inviting and educational.

Doing an internship at Elliott Gallery has allowed me to learn so much about working in the creative industry from the daily running of the gallery, and how to handle art, to creating content for social media platforms. I’ve enjoyed being able to engage with photography, learning about the history of the medium, its techniques and visual language, and the approach individual artists take in creating their art.

“In 2021 I had the joy of interning for Elliott Gallery, this was an immeasurable opportunity to learn and grow within the day-to-day operations of a leading authority in European fine art photography. During this period I assisted with catalogs, interviewed artists, and had the pleasure of writing long form pieces and articles for our website. I have learned so much from working with Addie and this was an incredible internship to build a foundation for my career.”

“My internship was a wonderful experience in the heart of artistic Amsterdam. I gained insights in various fields — from exhibition curating and framing to the tiniest details of gallery management. These takeaways have already proved useful for my further employment. I greatly appreciate the time I spent at Elliott Gallery.”

“During my internship at Elliott Gallery, I felt very supported by the small, intimate team. I had the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of tasks, ranging from how to frame a photograph, to interviewing an artist. Moreover, interning at the gallery gave me valuable practical knowledge whilst completing my Master's degree in Contemporary Art, enriching what I was learning at university. I also met many interesting and inspiring people during my time at Elliott Gallery, and will carry both my personal and professional growth I made during my internship into my future.”

- Emilia
